Thank you to everyone who bid for auction items or donated time or money to making this the highest ever total raised on the day in aid of the Cudeca Cancer Hospice. From the time live bidding commenced at 10.00am until we closed the lines at 10.00pm, almost €32.000 was raised and by today that total has exceeded €33.000 and is still rising. We confidently expect the final sum to reach €35.000. THANK YOU.

The sun is up it's another lovely day.
lets all start it the Howard Brereton way.
A cafe con leche ,a slice of toast.
The soothing voice of your early morning host,.
Next is Steve, the boss of them all,
If its conspiracy, you want!! give him a call,
A Scottish voice we can understand,
Stilo Green always at hand,
Brumi John,and Gary as well,
They always have a funny tale to tell,
Mostly talking a lot of sense,
Never knowingly sitting on the fence,
Next is Hannah, with stories to lighten your heart,
or in some cases, tear it apart,
Every hour the international news,
Horoscopes, beauty tips and book reviews.
With the recession and the crisis too,
Daily financial advice to help you ,
Somedays Martin calls from his boat,
In the Med somewhere afloat,
At night its Lisa who likes to chat,
About anything ,everything, or this and that,
If you are a man with problems below,
Ask the wed night docs they will know.
If you own a dog or a cat,
There is even a programme all about that,
Interviews with the famous throughout the day,
Often thought provoking things to say,
for the men of Malaga, a football dream,
Two hours of listening live to their team,
whatever your interest ,the station has it all,
so sit back ,listen and maybe give them a call.......
