Woman unhurt in Granada motorway accident killed by second car
A woman who escaped uninjured after crashing her car on the A-44 motorway in Valle de Lecrín on Tuesday, died only minutes later when she was hit by another vehicle. The 28 year old was near kilometre 165 of the motorway which links Granada City with the coast when her car came off the carriageway and rolled over at around 1.30 on Tuesday afternoon.
The un-named victim died as she was sitting at the side of the road next to her wrecked car when she was hit by another vehicle which had skidded off the motorway. EFE reports that the two occupants of the second car suffered minor injuries.
