Three Haitian orphans arrive at their new homes in Murcia
Three Haitian orphans who have been adopted by families in Murcia arrived in Spain safe and sound on Monday.
Rafa, Ana and Esther survived the tragic earthquake because the orphanage where they were remained standing, and now the paperwork which was started by the three families before the quake is finally completed.
The owner of the orphanage was key to the happy outcome, deciding to send the children to the United States after the quake as the building threatened collapse, and the three couples from Murcia travelled over last weekend to Pittsburgh to collect the children.
They all arrived back in Terminal One in Barajas Airport in Madrid on Monday lunchtime, and the press and camera flashes of the press were there to greet the smiling families and children.
