Two brothers drown in Cádiz reservoir
Two brothers drowned last Sunday when hunting ducks at the Barbate reservoir in Alcalá de los Gazules in Cádiz.
It’s thought one of the men, who were aged 42 and 29, got into difficulties when on a rubber dingy on the water, and the other brother undressed, leaving his clothes on the shore and went to his aid. The bodies of both were found 15 metres from the shore. The two were residents of Algeciras.
Meanwhile two fishermen were rescued three miles off the coast of Motril on Monday after hanging on in the water to a lifejacket for some 30 minutes. Their six metre leisure craft sunk after the boat overturned after hitting a large wave.
