The 'speaker''s computer starts to smoke in Spain
The computer used by José Bono, President of the Spanish Congress, suffered what is being described as a short circuit on Thursday.
Several deputies rushed to his aid as smoke started to appear, throwing the contents of their water glasses over the machine.
It seems that all the photographers, usually so keen to capture such an event, were distracted on the patio waiting for the arrival of Economy Minister, Elena Salgado.
The Spanish Press has also observed that Bono would win no awards for accident prevention in the workplace, as all the manuals say don’t throw water on electrical appliances.
