2,660 kilos of hashish intercepted in Puerto Banús and Estepona
2,660 kilos of hashish have been found by the Guardia Civil in Puerto Banús, Marbella and in the false bottom of a boat intercepted in Estepona.
The hauls came last Friday and were found in the hulls of two leisure craft which had been sailing along the Western Costa del Sol. 105 bails of the drug, weighing 1,320 kilos, was found on board a boat in Puerto Banús, and four hours later a drug sniffing dog found a slightly larger amount on another boat in Estepona.
Two Dutchmen, named as 31 year old D.W.M.D. and 41 year old E.L. have been arrested and face charges of a crime against public health. Both boats have been impounded.
