Murcia man confesses to killing his wife
A man has been arrested in Murcia after confessing to killing his wife with a stake. She died from a strong blow to the head in a fight which reportedly broke out when she told the husband that she had the intention to start the legal process of separation.
The body of the victim, Antonia G.P. who was born in 1942, was found in her home on Tuesday. The fight had taken place at 10am on the patio of the family home.
She married her husband 22 years ago bringing five children to the marriage to which he brought seven. The couple had some land and sold rabbits and chickens to the neighbours.
After the fight the husband confessed what he had done to a neighbour.
It follows the death on Monday of an Ecuadorian woman at the hands of her partner of the same nationality in Tenerife.
