Possible human remains found in Vecindario
Possible human remains and a cranium of a child have been found partially buried close to a children’s park in Vecindario, on Gran Canaria. A full investigation is now underway to confirm the nature of the skull.
It was nearby that seven year old Yeremi Vargas vanished in March 2007, and National Police are still working on the case of the disappearance of Sara Morales who was last seen in July 2006.
The cranium was found on Sunday night close to the children’s park at Vecindario, which is part of the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana.
