The Spanish World Cup team doctors, Oscar Celada and Juan Cota, have said that Fernando Torres has had a good last training session and could be in the starting team for Spain’s last friendly build up game against Poland today, following the injury to his right knee.

The doctors say that treatment has gone as planned, and that everyone was pleased.

The player has said he feels more comfortable and has more stability on the knee which remains bandaged in support.

The match against Poland will be played in the Nueva Condomina stadium in Murcia today at 10pm, and will be shown on TVE1. After the match the team set off for Potchefstroom in South Africa.
