41 immigrants intercepted off Motril
A patera small boat was intercepted off Motril on Thursday night and found to be carrying 42 paperless immigrants.
It happened 25 miles off shore after the zodiac boat was first detected five miles further out by an Italian plane flying over the area.
The Red Cross reports that all the travellers were found to be in good health. A baby and her mother were transferred to a centre in Córdoba.
