Arrested for driving with the sister in law on the roof of the car
A 63 year old woman from Gijón has been arrested by the Guardia Civil for travelling five kilometres with her 55 year old sister in law on the roof of the car.
It happened last Friday on the S-239 road after the two women had an argument, with the younger woman jumping onto the car in an attempt to get the older woman to stop driving away.
Police were advised by another motorist who reported the woman on the roof of the vehicle, which was finally brought to a standstill by the actions of a police patrol.
