Two new immigrant boats intercepted off the Costa Tropical
37 immigrants were located in a small patera boat on Monday night when 100 kms off the Granada coastline. There were two women among the travelers who were escorted into Motril port on board a Junta fisheries inspection boat, and reported by Red Cross volunteers to be in good health.
Possibly four of the travelers were underage, all the adults now face repatriation.
And in a separate incident a group of some 50 more Sub-Saharan immigrants were intercepted in their zodiac boat when just 15 miles of the Granada coast on Wednesday. They were brought into Motril at about 8pm.
