Married couple found dead in El Puerto de Santa María
A married couple have been found dead at their home in the ‘La Belleza’ urbanisation at El Puerto De Santa María in what appears to be another case of domestic violence. A neighbour found the bodies on Sunday and although there were no apparent signs of violence on the body of the 64 year old woman, she had a knife in her hand.
The body of the 67 year old husband was found in the garage with a shotgun wound in the face which he is thought to have carried out with the gun found at the side of the body.
An autopsy is to be carried out on the woman on Monday and police investigations continue. The couple were well known locally and worked in the wine trade, having their own vineyards and a bodega.
