Three Britons arrested for drug trafficking in Pamplona
Five people have been arrested with eight kilos of hashish from Morocco which the police allege they were planning to sell at the San Fermines Fiestas in Pamplona.
Two British men and two men from Navarra are now being held in prison while the fifth, a British woman, has been released with charges, on the orders of the Instruction Court Five in Pamplona.
The British men have been named as 43 year old R.H., 48 year old G.W.J. and the woman is 38 year old I.K.R. The Briton R.H. is accused of buying the drugs in Morocco with two other of those arrested accused of financing the purchase.
Police recovered the drugs, precision scales and over 2,000 € in cash.
Meanwhile there was a dangerous bull run in Pamplona on Saturday morning with the bulls from the Dolores Aguirre stud. The run lasted for two minutes, 53 seconds and resulted in four injuries, although no gorings.
