San Roque beach reopens after Blue Shark was seen
The Torrecarbonera beach in San Roque, Cádiz, has been reopened after it was evacuated on Tuesday this week following the sighting of a Blue Shark just off the shore.
It’s thought the shark has now headed back to deeper waters, but bathers have been told to be ‘on alert’.
The Councillor for Civil Protection in San Roque, José Luis Navarro Sampalo, told Europa Press that ‘after an inspection on the water, and with confirmation from the Guardia Civil, we are going to reopen the beach’.
