The British Ministry for Defence signed a contract with Santa Bárbara and General Dynamics at the start of this month to build 580 Scod SV vehicles which are based n the ‘Pizarro’ model built in Asturias and currently used by the Spanish Army.

Seven prototypes will be made, and have to be ready for testing in 2013, and once the model is selected 580 vehicles will be made. The deal is worth some 594.5 million €.
