British teenager critical after balcony fall in Magaluf
A British teenager, 17 year old Grace Ford, who is from Lancashire, is in a critical condition in the Son Dureta hospital in Mallorca after falling seven stories from an apartment block.
She suffered multiple fractures of her legs and pelvis, and her parents are now at her side.
There are reports that an 18 year old Briton, who had been accused of failing to help the victim, was later released, although he may still face charges.
Reports indicate that the girl fell from his apartment in Punta Ballena after she went back with him at 5,30am after a night out in Magaluf on Saturday, and it is claimed that he helped her to get out of the window.
He told the police he thought it led to an outside patio, but instead it was an internal patio, but police want to know how it was that he went to sleep after what happened.
