Man dies in Mallorca firework accident
A 32 year old worker died on Wednesday night at Petra on Mallorca in a firework explosion. He was setting up the fireworks which were to be used in the display at the village fiestas when the accident happened, just after midnight.
It seems one of the fireworks did not go off, and he returned to the scene to investigate, and then the explosion occurred.
Health workers rushed to the scene, but there was nothing they could do to save his life.
A witness said it was not a very big explosion and initially nobody realised what had happened.
