The Spanish Meteorological Agency today splits the country into east and west, with the east of the mainland seeing summer storms and rain, although the Baleares should escape them.
The west and Andalucía will be generally sunny today, with cloud forming over the mountains inland later in the day.
Again it will be cloudy on the north of the Canaries were light showers are possible.

Winds moderate NE with strong intervals on the Canaries.
NW moderate in the NE of GIrona and moderate NE on the Baleares.
NW winds in the Valle de Ebro and W or NW along the Cantabrian coast.
Westerly moderate winds in the Strait, veering to Levante.

Temperatures – slightly warmer in the west and cooler in the east
