Two Spaniards among the 19 dead at the German Love Parade
Two Spaniards were among the 19 who died in the Love Parade festival, identified only as two young female university students. Two other Spaniards who were in hospital have been allowed home.
The Spanish Foreign Ministry has contacted the families of the victims, and their parents were travelling to Germany on Saturday.
They have been named as Marta Acosta and Clara Zapater.
More than 340 people were injured in the crowd crush and the Spanish Consul has been touring the hospitals looking for Spaniards among the injured.
The organisers of the Love Parade say that given the tragedy the event will never be held again.
