Barcelona lost 77.1million € last season
Barcelona Football Club lost 77.1million € last season, taking the club’s net debt to 442 million €.
The numbers come from a new Deloitte audit of the accounts for the 2009-2010 season and determine the 77.1 million loss compared to the previously published claim of a 11.1 million € profit presented by Chairman Joan Laporta before his departure.
The revelation was made on Tuesday by the Deputy Economic Chairman of the Club, Javier Faus, who said that the numbers presented by the previous administration ‘do not reflect the real picture’, although he declined to say that the previous managers had carried out ‘accounting tricks’.
