Two bodies found off the Cabo de la Nao
Two bodies have been located in the waters of the Mediterranean off the Cabo de la Nao, Alicante. One was found 20 miles offshore while the second was ten miles from the coast. The first was spotted by a leisure craft and when the Coastguard was taking it back to shore, they came across the second body.
The news was given by the coastguard and Guardia Civil who say that both bodies were taken into port in Jávea where work has started on identification.
One of the bodies is reported to show signs of decomposition and, in principle, is thought to correspond to a person or Moroccan origin.
There are also reports that a third body has now been found in the area.
