British man drowns on Mallorca
A 59 year old British man has drowned on the Es Canar beach in Santa Eularia in Mallorca.
It happened on Thursday afternoon with emergency services saying that he was removed unconscious from the water.
Efforts to revive the man, who has not been named in reports, were not effective and death was confirmed on the beach.
