Julio Iglesias marries Miranda (finally)
They have been living together for 20 years, during which time they have had five children, but only now has 66 year old Julio Iglesias got married to his 45 year old bride, Dutch ex model Miranda Rijnsburger.
The couple have been living together since the middle of the 90’s and generally stay in Miami, but they arrived at the Iglesias finca in Ojen, Marbella at the end of July and are expected to stay in Spain until sometime in September as the singer records a new greatest hits compilation.
The couple were married in the Virgen del Carmen parish church in Marbella last Tuesday, August 24, in the presence of just the five children, Miguel Alejandro, Rodrigo, the twins Victoria and Cristina and Guilllermo, and two witnesses, the couple who look after the Ojén home in their absence. The ceremony was followed by a second mass of thanks in the family chapel on the Ojén estate.
It’s Julio Iglesias second marriage, the first was in 1971 to Isabel Preysler with whom the singer has a further three children. They separated in 1978 and divorced a year later.
