Joe Thomas is a lecturer in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Hertfordshire. In 2018 he was the recipient of a K Blundell Trust Award for British authors under forty whose work aims to increase social awareness. He grew up in Hackney before moving to Sao Paulo for 10 years between 2002 and 2012. ‘Brazilian Psycho’ is the 4th in the Sao Paulo Quartet, and weaves historical fact and personal experience with social crime fiction.
