With less than three months to go before the DGT’s new connected V16 rule takes effect, experts estimate that hundreds of thousands of older, non-compliant V16 lights have already been sold in Spain.
These non-connected models—often cheaper and widely available online—will no longer be legal from 1 January 2026.
