Francis Kenny has lived in Liverpool all his life, and has spent much of his time carrying out extensive research into The Beatles. His books include ‘Waiting for The Beatles’ and ‘The Making of John Lennon’ In his latest book ‘Understanding John Lennon’, he delves deeper into some of his formative influences, and reveals some surprising new claims about his relationships and his music, including the truth about Strawberry Fields. It is published to coincide with the fact that today 9th October would have been his 80th birthday. Also, December 8th this year is the 40th anniversary of his death.
