Stephen Bailey is an author, critic, columnist, consultant, broadcaster, debater and curator. He was once described as the “second most intelligent man in Britain” Educated at the same school as John Lennon, he was later to inspire the lyrics for ‘I Am the Walrus’ He later joined Terence Conran in an attempt to popularise design. This resulted in The Boilerhouse Project in London’s V & V, which became the most successful gallery of the eighties. His debut novel ‘The Art of Living’ is a fictional story of one man’s quest to transform the drabness of post-war Britain.
