Carol Hedges is a successful writer of 18 books for teenagers and adults. Her novel ‘Jigsaw’ was long-listed for the Carnegie Medal. She is the writer of ‘The Victorian Detectives’ – a series of novels set in 1860’s London. The 7th book in the series ‘Intrigue & Infamy’ is out now.

Peter Sissons qualified as an architect, and then became a professional artist, painting pictures for celebrities and businesses. His debut novel ‘The Rosario’ is based in London and then heads for Spain. It’s based on the story of the ship from The Spanish Armada and inspired by a set of doors from Devon!

Lucienne Boyce writes historical fiction & non-fiction, and is currently writing a biography of suffrage campaigner Millicent Price. The first novel in the Dan Foster Mystery series, ‘Bloodie Bones’ was joint winner of the Historical Novel Society Indie award 2016. The latest one in the series ‘Death Makes no Distinction’ follows two women at opposite ends of the social scale who are brutally murdered.

A F Stone grew up in Stoke-on-Trent where her book is set. She moved to study English Literature at the University of Sheffield, where she now works. her debut novel ‘The Raven Wheel’ follows three troubled teenagers as they struggle to seize control of their lives.
