Lillian Li teaches English Composition and Creative Writing at the University of Michigan, and works as a bookseller. Her debut novel ‘Number One Chinese Restaurant’ is longlisted for the Center for Fiction’s 2018 First Novel Prize. It’s about the complicated lives and loves of people working in a local Chinese restaurant.

Isabella May is a local author whose third novel ‘Costa del Churros’ is now out. Her previous novels ‘Oh! What a Pavlova’ and ‘The Cocktail Bar’ were both very well received. The latest book is about a group of ladies living on the Costa del Sol who take up flamenco lessons…
