Cole Moreton is an award-winning journalist and broadcaster, who has reported on major events from around the world from 9/11 to the death of Nelson Mandela. His debut novel ‘The Light Keeper’ is set on and around the cliffs of Beachy Head (just ten minutes away from where Cole lives) It is about the disappearance of a young woman named Sarah, and her husbands desperate search to find her.

Kathryn Hughes has written three bestselling books – The Letter, The Secret, and The Key, with total sales exceeding 1.4 million copies. ‘Her Last Promise’ was the winner of Book of the Year at the Prima Big Book Awards 2019. It’s a gripping story of how love can blossom in the ruins of tragedy, and is set between 2018 and 1978 in Spain and Manchester.

Paula Daly is the critically acclaimed author of six novels. She has been shortlisted for the CWA Gold Dagger for Crime Novel of the Year Award, and her books have been developed for the new TV series, Deep Water, starring Anna Friel. Her latest book ‘Clear my Name’ asks ‘what if you were innocent, even when proven guilty?’

Eric Macfarlane has worked as a teacher, head teacher, college principle, and education officer. He was awarded an OBE for services to education. In his latest book ‘The Pleasure of Reading’ he reflects on the joys of owning and reading books.
