Sue Mackender sold her business in 2005 and started writing her first novel. She writes gritty fiction with no fluffy clouds or hazy sunsets. ‘Accident of Fate’ was followed by ‘Accident of Birth’ in 2017, and ‘A Date in the Diary’ series are the stories of three women who were once at boarding school together, receive an invitation to their school reunion.

Nicola Avery is a trained hypnotherapist, past-life therapist, and reiki practitioner. She channels her research and experiences into her writing. ‘Within the Silence’ is a dark, paranormal thriller, which unpicks the ‘perfect family tapestry’
