Matt Finnegan is a former Special Adviser to Angela Rayner, Labour MP for Ashton-under-Lyne, currently Shadow Secretary of State for Education. Throughout his sommunications career, Matt was an active member of the Labour Party, first joining in 1983. During that time, he was an attender, in a variety of guises, at 30 Labour Party Annual Conferences, experiences which he has drawn upon for his debut novel ‘Betrayal’. It’s an explosive political thriller that tells uncomfortable truths about the current state of British politics.

Paul Finch is a former cop and journalist, now turned full-time writer. He cut his literary teeth penning episodes of the British TV crime drama ‘The Bill’. He is now best known for his crime thrillers. His most successful works are the six-novel DS Heckenburg crime series, and the new Lucy Clayburn series, the latest of which is ‘Stolen’

Asia Mackay presented and produced lifestyle programmes in Shanghai before moving back to London, where she worked for Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman as Project Manager on their round the world motorbike documentaries. Her latest novel ‘The Nursery’ is the follow-up to ‘Killing It’, following the mother and assassin Lex Tyler attempt to find a happy medium between her life with her toddler and husband, and her job as an underground agent.

Jessica Knowles works as a primary school teacher. She has an Instagram account and YouTube channel with over 40,000 people following her adventures with her dog, Pepper. ‘Adventures of Pepper the Ginger Dog: The Den’ is the first book in a series of adventures set in rural England.
