Yazz is a singer, whose debut solo hit, ‘The Only Was Is Up’, was released in the summer of 1988. It went on to spend five weeks at the top of the charts, eventually becoming the second-biggest-selling UK single of 1989. She relocated to Spain over 15 years ago and has been teaching singing at various schools on the Costa del Sol. She’s also more recently released two Contemporary Gospel albums. She’s taking part in a series on Greatest Hits Radio called ‘Greatest Brits – Women in Music’ and a series on Channel 5 called 80’s hits.
