A message from Collective Calling about their Covid 19 response…
Since 12th March Collective Calling have been responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in Andalucia, Spain and on 8th May the Spanish government denied the province of Malaga (Collective Calling headquarters) to enter into phase 1 of the de-escalation process. We are now on the brink of an unprecedented amount of needs arising, families who were before the pandemic living paycheck to paycheck, now in a position of zero income and government support slow to come, families have no where else to turn but to the support of NGO’s and other local service organisations.
Thanks to kind donations and monthly contributions from companies and individuals we are managing to support over 1000 souls every month with Pandemic Support Packs (PSPs). Each PSP has enough food to last a family of 4 an average of two weeks and contains the same items to ensure a fair distribution of food items, with special requests such as baby and hygiene essentials supplementing the packs.
Watch our team at work as they help to bring HOPE through this time of pandemic. Thank you again to everyone who is helping to make this happen, from companies to individuals, this is a collective effort.
